A bit about Javid
Javid Jamil is a HR and Change leader and currently leads strategic and operational people responses to several key business areas, such as Digital across Nationwide Building Society. He has helped repurpose a team to support policy and implementation in supporting and safeguarding our vulnerable customers. He was also the Groupwide People Risk Officer for the Society and has a good understanding of regulation and governance.
He is an engaging and influential thought leader and HR professional, with the drive, vision, and passion to influence business thinking and culture change.
In his career to date he has worked in Lloyds Bank and Vodafone undertaking a variety of senior Business and HR roles in areas of Transformation Change, Digital, Strategy, Risk and Customer Experience.
He has studied Law (LLB) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
His strong sense of community has driven him to be an active member of the community, coaching and mentoring individuals challenging them to change their mindset, go on to college and often secure their first job. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, taking family walks and watching sports.
Javid is looking forward to working with a great executive team at Pobl delivering its strategic ambitions.
