A bit about Saz
Saz has an economics degree and worked as an auditor before moving to Paris. Returning to Wales, she became an active volunteer, a carer and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since 2001.
Saz has held strategic and operational roles in the not for profit, public and private sectors across advice, health, housing, social care and local government.
As a CAB manager, Saz built capacity and capability to sustain and expand quality assured client services and projects and campaigned to improve policy and practice. A Vale Local Health Board non-executive for six years, Saz chaired the Performance and Planning Committee and sat on the Audit Committee.
Saz is Vice Chair and treasurer of Care and Repair Cymru and chairs its Finance and Audit Committee.
A Member of the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales since 2016, Saz leads on equalities and inclusion.
A trustee of Pobl Trust, Vice Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee Saz previously sat on Pobl’s Combined Care and Support Board.
