Closer Together But Still Keeping Two-metre Distance

When we found ourselves faced with the 'new normal' during these unusual times, we knew our ways of working will rapidly change.

We are working flexibly and considering all options to boost our ability to provide the same hight standard of care.

Many Support colleagues were asked to join the Care division to help out but not many knew what that actually meant in practise. Moving to a new team in a completely different setting, understandably made many quite apprehensive and anxious.

One of our fantastic Difference Makers, Sharron decided to lead by example and volunteer at Dan y Bryn care home in Pontardawe and tell us all about her experience.

Sharron is a manager at Cam Nesf, a youth project in Swansea and never worked in a care setting before. After completing her first shift, she is now looking forward to each time she goes in to help out.
