Loftus Garden Village wins development award and hailed a ‘great place to live’
Loftus Garden Village was the proud recipient of the Best Residential Development of the year, at the Insider Wales Property Awards recently held in Cardiff City Hall.
Pam Fitzjohn, interim head of Serenliving, received the award and said: “We know Loftus Garden Village is very special and to have this recognised by the Insider Wales Property Awards reinforces this fact”.
“Creating an environment where the community can flourish was equally as important to us, with as much emphasis placed on the external environment as the homes themselves”.
“Since launching in 2014, demand for properties has been overwhelming. The first phase is sold and 50% of the second phase reserved. Residents tell us they love the exceptional quality of their homes, and are enjoying watching their beautifully landscaped surroundings take shape”.
Praised as ‘a great place to live’ by the judges, the £28million development of 250 high-quality arts and crafts style homes, set amongst extensive landscaped gardens is being constructed by local housing developer Lovell.
Lovell regional director Kate Rees says: “We’re extremely proud to be working with Pobl to create this outstanding new community in the heart of Newport. The scheme’s success at the Insider Wales Property Awards further underlines that this is an exceptional development offering beautifully designed homes in a stunning modern garden village setting.”
A range of apartments and houses are available via a number of rental and purchasing options, including outright purchase and shared ownership, through Serenliving, Pobl’s dedicated home ownership company.
