My role at Pobl

I’m the Head of Procurement for Pobl Group since 2016. Within my role no day is ever the same and have been involved some fantastic projects.  Procurement delivers multiple projects across the Group, purchasing anything from large Food Contracts to important Repairs & Maintenance Contracts and sourcing Construction companies for house builds whilst ensuring compliance, best practice and also generating efficiencies.

Why is the Pobl Trust important to me?

Within my role, Procurement has built great relationships with key suppliers which has helped contribute to the Trust. I love being part of Pobl Trust and being involved has allowed me to see the difference that grants we give can impact communities. It’s such an important and exciting role to have – the Pobl trust aligns to my own values of wanting and striving to make a real difference to peoples lives and the communities they live.

Something you may not know about me…

I am a keen sportsman and have been playing football for the last 30 years, I currently coach a local team and have recently undertaken my coaching badges to coach of my son’s football team.
